Nyoka
She's an adult Crocodile, strong and muscular, with light-colored scales and many sharp fangs. She has a bold and confident attitude but she’s also very rigorous. She's an Esoterist and a Chief Regent in charge of an outpost guarding the borders of Crocodiles and Chameleons territories.
For this reason she bears the informal title of "eyes in the water", a title with a fairly obvious meaning given the habit of guarding territories standing hidden in water's rivers.
She has such a strong and reckless attitude that she has managed not only to survive the gruesome maturity rituals of her people, but also to become Chief Regent at a much younger than average age. She has married to a master Scribe from their capital, and has already had four hatchlings, although the first two have not been able to survive their first maturity ritual.
Nyoka will make her appearance in the Tale starting from the second season, as she's in charge of welcoming and confronting K’tusha during some commercial treaties. Anyway, after the discovery of Makanvor’s plans she will join Siptha and K’tusha because she knows Makanvor's backstory well. She was young when Siptha's granfather murdered Makanvor's parents, and over time she has also widely heard about Makanvor's quenchless thirst for revenge. If the Revenge Paramount has targeted the kingdoms bordering Kemethiron in order to vent out his vengeance, then the whole region could be in danger.
Later, Nyoka is shown to be not only a skilled fighter and commander, but also a caring mother and patriot. If in fact, during Kemethiron war, she fights without holding back against the raiding peoples allied with Makanvor, after this, when Makanvor's spell that bound Leopard people will be broken, she'll lead the setting up of shelters and aids for the defeated, well understanding their situation of mere puppets. Not only that, she will also be able to obtain permission to invite a delegation of them at the trade treaties as part of Turao territory's inhabitants.
Nyoka is not just a fighter, as an Esoteric she's also a Metamagic user skilled in the art of boosting her weapons and armor. She's armed with a chromed metal trident and protected by heavy-leather cuirass, and she's used to often empower them with icy or electric energy, a very useful choice when fighting in waters.
