Savron
He’s a very young Hare, energetic, enterprising, self-confident yet always particularly tender. He has dark-grey fur with spots of brown, and often wears tiny reading-glasses and a long soft-leather coat.

At the beginning of the Tale he has not yet graduated at Dandelion's Academy of magic, one of the few and rare schools for magicians during Tale's time. However, he has the honor to accompany the Academy Provost as his attendant during the Cawatian Council of Races. There he volunteers to join Thela's quest and persuades the Provost to use such a quest as the final test to gain the title of Sorcerer.

Thanks to his strong faith in Vael Nhor, the deity of magic, and to his energetic and hopeful nature, Savron will develop a very strong loyalty to Thela's quest and the defeat of the Black Bishop. For this reason, he will be the first to forcefully question Thela's choices and her behavior changes but, at the same time, he will also be the first to understand Thela's changes and her risky choices taken with a puzzling far-sightedness.
During the tale, Savron will weave an increasingly close relationship with his companion Calès. Initially he will be seized by a sense of understanding mixed with pity for his sad adventure partner, thus developing an intense friendship based on mutual emotional support and on snarky remarks that both enjoy sharing even in less convenient situations. However, as their adventures continue, this feeling of friendship will turn into a real physical and sentimental attraction. In the final seasons, after the defeat of Ymas, and especially during the Linìa wars, Savron and Calès will behave in all respects as if they were a couple, although their feelings and the nature of their relationship will lie buried and unspoken under the fear of sexual and racial incompatibility.
He is certainly not a good fighter, not physically at least, but he is undoubtedly one of the best Sorcerers and magic-users in all Cawat. Beyond his ability in the use of destructive spells based on fire and magma, over the years he has also had the opportunity to learn some spells not strictly of a war nature, such as of mental manipulation or scrutiny of memories. His familiar is a little female barn owl, while his Source of Power is composed of a staff of birchwood and a phylactery of amber.
