Ymas
He's a very young Platypus, barely adult and, before finding the Shard, he was an enthusiastic one, about to become a shaman, full of vitality and strongly bonded to his people. He's very tall and very thin for his kind, with dark fur and deep-black eyes.

Obviously, everything about him will change from the very first moment he'll come in contact with the Shard. Unlike Thela, not knowing yet what it was, he'll grab the Shard in his bare hands and this will corrupt his soul and, over time, his body too.
Before that time, like every other Platypus, he had followed the teachings of his people and, showing great connection with the natural and spiritual world, had embarked on the shaman path. He would probably have become an acclaimed shaman, a spiritual guide to his people, a healer and a sage but, apparently, fate wanted it otherwise.
His fervent Lohudonist faith has deep roots in his people, and perhaps this was precisely the reason why the illusion of Primal Chaos had turned out to be so fascinating to him, to the point of deeply corrupting him.

The more the Tale goes on, the more his mind will give way to the chaotic madness of the Eternals, and even worse since he’ll find the second Shard, to the point of even no longer giving importance to his own life. He will fight, even if only with words, against Thela and the divine forces until the last moment of his life.
His death will be very grim, because his unwavering chaos madness will lead Thela to manifest all the cruelty inherent in the black swan she has transformed into. She will dismember him piece by piece, unnaturally and unrealistic, bending and twisting him like fresh clay, blood-less but equally painful, until there is nothing left of him but a talking beak.
His fighting skills are almost non-existent and, although he is a good orthodox magic user, capable of healing wounds, calling animals to fight and bending natural elements, all his power resides in the Shard. Thanks to the Shard he's able to perform real miracles, or rather, he could, if his mind wasn't clouded and limited. He'll use the Shard's power primarily to inflict massive damage through energy beams, to empower Wrik's artifacts and N'gaire's summons, to extend Makanvor's spell over his people, and not least to keep Bonescal and his crew on a leash, even after death.
