Spiritual Guild
The formation of this guild occurred naturally, evolving in a uniform and necessary manner. The numerous churches of various deities, spread across all continents and races, were starting to preach different versions of sacred texts. Similarly, the same phenomenon was happening with the naturalistic dogmas of druidism.
Additionally, with the rise of the social status of prophets and seers blessed by deities, and the proliferation of meditative practices taught by monasteries in various regions, there was a growing need for greater conformity of religious traditions. Consequently, the Spiritual Guild was established to bring the various cults of deities into closer communication and create a hierarchy of administrative and academic power from which everyone could benefit.
As a result of this, every religious and spiritual cult began offering the services of their cultists to those in need during adventures. In certain cases, it is not only useful to have magic experts who are also skilled in combat during perilous archaeological expeditions, but having access to sound spiritual advice and knowledge of the most ancient sacred texts can also prove beneficial.
Order of Druids
The specialty of this order is to educate and administer the cult of traditional Druidism, following the dictates of natural balance and harmony in great detail. The Druids are the only priests of modern theories who still use Orthodox magic, and this is because their traditions blossomed before the birth of Deities. Druidic magic is very versatile, like shamanic magic, and it's capable of manipulating and controlling animals, causing plants to move, and even having power over natural elements and weather.
Most of a Druid's spells originate from the lines of energy that branch out of the Forge of the Eternals.
Order of Monks
The specialty of this order is spiritual asceticism sought through martial arts. Even before the coming of Master Zant and his religious philosophy, some monasteries sought asceticism through the communion of mind, body, and spirit, giving rise to many schools and fighting styles. Members of this order often live on alms by offering advice and spiritual support and are among the foremost experts in hand-tohand combat. They may limit themselves to perfecting a single style or expand their knowledge to as many different styles. Not only that, but they are also wise masters of life and knowledge and, in some cases, even meta-magic users.
Order of Paramounts
The specialty of this order is ethics, with the goal of providing the services of so-called Paramounts. A Paramount is someone who has devoted their existence to the proclamation of higher ethics, regardless of religious beliefs and deities themselves. Among them are those who dedicate themselves to justice, freedom, tyranny, hedonism, balance, law, redemption, revenge, and more. Each Paramount is a spokesperson for superior ethics. In addition to being particularly skilled on the battlefield, several Paramounts also train in Traditional magic to support their skills.
Most of a Paramount’s spells originate from the Abyss, Elysium, or Limbo.
Order of Priests
The specialty of this order is obviously religious faith and the practice of the most important rites dedicated to deities. Many Priests are known not only for their deep knowledge of deities’ dogmas but also for their combat prowess and extensive practice of traditional magic. Although many believe that Priest magic is limited to healing spells, both physical and spiritual, this is just a stereotype. Priestly use of magic is quite varied and, in addition to healing, it also includes summons, shielding, enhancing, foresight, and more.
Most of a Priest's spells originate from the Deity itself, which is prayed to and hailed as part of the spell's formula.
Order of Prophets
The specialty of this order is to train and fortify the rare and powerful Prophets who show themselves to the world. Thanks to an apparently unmotivated divine blessing, every now and then an individual with great divinatory powers is born. However, these powers are often uncontrollable, unpredictable, and cryptic, difficult to understand, and sometimes even alienating. The study of Traditional magic and closeness to a religious cult help them find stronger balance and control over their powers.
