Cilldyn

Cilldyn is the perpetual traveler, the child of Azlean and Najan, born from a love of the natural world and a desire to bring discovery and amazement to mortal souls.

It serves as the guide for all those who venture into unknown territories and dangerous areas, as well as for those who observe the sky and scan the stars in search of new discoveries.
Daisies, swallows, and lapis lazuli are sacred to Cilldyn and are required in sacrifices and ceremonies. Its priests wear blue robes, with primarily white and silver decorations, and are highly skilled in the use of bows and arrows - the weapon most associated with explorers.

Cilldyn is a benevolent deity who respects the well-being of all, but does not engage in battles between good and evil. It is often disinterested in rivalries and wars, leading some to consider it distant or absent. Cilldyn has excellent relationships with its parents, its nephew Ekoari - the deity of science - and with all those who promote a life in communion with nature and discovery.
Temples dedicated to Cilldyn often resemble inns or hostels, with amenities to welcome, refresh and provide rest to travelers. These temples are always built along the main roads and borders. Its clergy promotes a life of travel and exploration, and faithful followers are encouraged to never stay too long in one place. For this reason, many priests choose not to marry or start a family. Cilldyn believes that settling in one place and staying for too long leads to stagnation and impoverishment of the soul and people, and therefore it is essential for mortals to continue to travel and explore. Curiosity is the engine of life itself.

Cilldyn often shows its benevolence by sending shooting stars and signals into the sky for mortals. Occasionally, it also shows itself to them physically, appearing as an anthropomorphic hybrid of a cobra and eagle. Its lower body is replaced by a mighty serpentine tail, while huge feathered wings extend from its arms. A large scaled collar surrounds its aquiline head, and several peacock feathers form a crest across its back. Its entire body is enveloped in blue flames.
