Thialon

Thialon is the third of the twin children of Ayrus and Vael Nhor.
It is the most authoritarian of all deities, known as the Steel Gauntlet, the Patron of Mastership, and the Relentless Conqueror. It is the lord of tyranny and ambition, a harsh master of all warlords, social climbers, arrivistes, and armigers.
Firs, wolverines and silver are sacred to it and are required in sacrifices and ceremonies. Its priests are required to wear red robes with decorations primarily in gold and then white. They are also well trained in combat with partizans, a weapon that is often highly appreciated by the elite guards, although any weapon that can give an advantage is always well accepted.
Thialon believes that the strong have the right to rule over the weak, but it also believes that power must be earned and obtained by force and cunning. It thinks that no ambition is ever too high if one is willing to do anything to achieve their own goals. Thialon admires hierarchical systems of power and the virtue of strong leadership, but that doesn't mean it appreciates slavery. Instead, Thialon prefers the shrewd use of indoctrination aimed at favoring rulers' image and leader's worship. It loves negotiations and contracts, especially those that give a clear but hidden advantage to one side over the others. It teaches mortals that only those who earn true power also earn the right to determine the course of history. Therefore, there's no such creature like Thialon in the entire universe who can appreciate more the concept that history is written by winners. It expects and appreciates flattery, but it's never fooled by it as it knows that no flattery can avoid punishment for a failure.
As a result, Thialon is also revered as a deity of conquest war and is followed and honored by powerful warlords who seek in it a pretext for their desire for power.
When the despotic Abyss lord decides to show itself to the dull mortals, it appears as a mighty anthropomorphic chimera with a moray body, a serpentine legless end, and huge carnous bat-like wings on its back. It is covered in bloody and dark red fish-scales and is often dressed in heavy armor of shiny steel, reinforced with studs and spikes.
