Almiraj

Despite its appearance, which clearly resembles that of a sweet bunny, and its white fur, this cuddly animal with ivory horn is actually a carnivorous hunter with an insatiable thirst for blood. The Almiraj is the most striking example of Arisha's unhealthy and perverted work during the era of the Ancients Fallen. This creature looks as harmless as it actually is dangerous. Not only is it able to take enormous leaps in length and height, and track its prey through body heat, but its horn is so pointed and sharp that it can even cut through hard materials such as tree bark.
Although an Almiraj does not have a great need for food, it mainly survives by eating a few mice or small mammals throughout the day, the real danger of the Almiraj lies in its repressed ferocity, devastatingly awakened by the smell of blood. One could pass in front of an Almiraj's lair for days or even weeks without realizing it, but if a single drop of blood were to fall within a hundred meters of the Almiraj, the beast would be set off into a whirlwind of murderous rage, attacking and devouring any creature that shed blood in its presence. The main stroke of luck for Anthro people is that Almirajs are very difficult to encounter, as they are only present in freezing polar or sub-polar environments.
Alchemists and occultists often seek after Almirajs, mainly due to their sharp horn, but also other body parts.
