Kheilopon

Not all mythological creatures created by the Great Mother Yanìs have a peaceful and attractive appearance or disposition. As we know, Yanìs creates and gives in equal measure, for better and for worse.
The huge Hell Cockroach is eerily stealthy for a creature of its size. Its head is conical and elongated, surrounded by six small eyes arranged in a horizontally crescent shape. Its mouth is formed by six distinct mandibles that open like a sunburst, from which three lumpy, clawed tongues stick out. It is about 20 to 25 feet long, but its body inside the carapace is light and delicate, so it never weighs more than 150 to 200 kg. Another typical feature of the Hell Cockroach is the powerful pincers positioned at the end of its tail. The Hell Cockroach uses its pincers only rarely to attack, and generally uses them to grab hold of protuberances or stalactites, allowing it to roll up on itself, hang upside down, and fall asleep.
The Hell Cockroach is a creature typical of underground wetlands and can be found all over the planet. Inside huge underground caves, especially if aquifers are present, Hell Cockroaches can thrive and multiply to extreme levels. If the subterranean area in which a Hell Cockroach makes its nest is large enough to house other nests, then it is very likely that they will overpopulate. Fortunately, this is a rare case because when it happens, the consequence is a strenuous struggle for supremacy that almost always results in an eruption of individuals who pour into the outside world, bringing panic, devastation, and not a few deaths. Gastric acids, eggs, pincers, and sometimes even the carapace of Hell Cockroaches are sought after by alchemists and occultists because of their magical properties.
