Phoenix
Arguably, the most beautiful and majestic creatures created by Ethaam during the time of myth, Phoenixes are undoubtedly extraordinary. Not even dragons dare to deny their superiority in terms of beauty and solemnity. Phoenixes are rare and shy creatures, incredibly difficult to encounter, and those who have had the chance to admire them describe them as resembling archaeopteryx. They have golden plumage, a bulky neck with splendid colors, broad golden wings rounded at the tips, a long bony tail, two long feathers that softly glide down from their head, and three long feathers that hang down from their feathered tail. Also known as the Golden Bird, due to the bright yellow-metallic color of their plumage, Phoenixes have the habit of laying their eggs in scorching lava and magma pools. It has been found that their feathers are completely flame retardant and, for the most part, they are immune to any damage caused by fire.
Most accounts agree that Phoenixes are reclusive creatures that do not seek out contact or conflict with other creatures. However, if disturbed, provoked, or properly motivated, they show relentless fury and destructive power. According to some rumors, Phoenixes possess an incredibly wide array of innate magical abilities. They are able to instantaneously detect undead (as they have a fierce hatred toward undead and attack them on sight), the sound of their twittering counters mental possessions, and their distilled blood is said to be able to rejuvenate, restoring body strength and vitality of adolescence.
