Cawat

The continent of Cawat consists of a northern continental part and a southern peninsular part, divided longitudinally by a high mountain range.
The natural borders of Cawat are entirely composed of sea: the Arctic Ocean to the north, the Grabas Sea to the west, the Aelinar Ocean to the south, and the Medisol Sea to the east. Cawat is characterized by four different climates, mainly due to the presence of the El-Aran mountain range that divides the continent and reaches peaks over 4000 meters.
In the northern part, there is a cold continental climate with a long cold and snowy season. In the south-western area, there is a mild temperate climate with short, mild winters and long, hot summers. In the eastern zone, there is a temperate humid climate with abundant rainfall and rare snowfall. Finally, in the interior of the continent on the high mountain peaks of El-Aran, there is a mountain climate with harsh, snowy winters and cool, rainy summers

El Aran

Ever since the Eagles' race reached full anthropomorphic conformation, it has always considered itself a kingdom, with a royal dynasty and a well-defined and protected territory. The Kingdom of El-Aran, also know as the Bright Reign, is one of the oldest and longest-lived in all of Yanis and will not change its status for many centuries to come. The main feature of the kingdom is its complete isolation: El-Aran is based on the principles of isolationism and protectionism, which are strongly socially supported by the entire people. This, however, doesn’t prevent them from participating in the Cawatian Council of Races or receiving and transcribing news from the rest of the world.

Linìa

It's said that the ancient and renowned city of Linìa was founded even half a millennium before the Tale, and for almost half of this long period of time, it was governed by a monarchical system of only Boar kings. Since the last self-declared King of Linìa was expelled from the city and an oligarchic republic was established, the city began a period of constant internal struggles between patricians and plebeians and continuous wars against neighboring peoples. Having become the undisputed master of the eastern Cawatian peninsula, the city of Linìa waged several wars against the Molossian people and began a long period of territorial conquests that led it to annex, mostly by force, other races and territories.

Nemari

The Free Cawatian Confederation will be formed only half a century later, after the end of the Tale, to counter the continuous and relentless advance of territories of the Linian Republic. Initially, the five races had separate governments and, for the most part, they governed themselves through councils of kings, keeping each city independent from the others. After the union of the f ive races under the common Nemari flag, a central government will be created consisting of fifteen members (3 from each race) and 5 rulers (1 from each race), all elected through an oligarchic scheme.
