Mirook
Mirook is a continent located in the southern hemisphere of the planet Yanìs, encompassing the lands and seas within the Antarctic Circle. It is characterized by the presence of the Antarctic ice sheet, vast ice shelves, and the Antarctic pack ice, and is surrounded by the Antarctic Ocean.
Almost all of its territory is covered by the Antarctic ice sheet, making it the coldest and most inhospitable continent on the planet, although it also has the largest reserves of fresh water. The continent has the highest average altitude above sea level of all the continents and is considered a desert, with very little annual rainfall along the coast and even less in the inland regions.
A peculiar feature of Mirook is the huge rocky ridge that extends in a circle from the exact center of Antarctica for over 7000 km, commonly referred to as the "Mountains at the End of All Lands".

Mirook

Managing a territory as vast as Mirook is no easy task, and for all intents and purposes, nobody has been able to do it effectively. The three Anthro races that inhabit this land keep their distance from one another, engaging in few, and not always friendly, trade and cultural exchanges. However, the vast and unexplored continent allows for the building of huge megalopolises scattered throughout the infinite blanket of snow and ice. Generally speaking, the territory of Mirook is divided into three political regions: the northwestern part belongs to the Penguin people; the eastern part is the exclusive prerogative of the Walrus people; and the islands of the Qawiathun archipelago that surround the continent belong to the Albatross people.
